Story of "Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered"

Ms. Keiko Koma was born as a direct descendant of the royal dynasty of Koguryo, an empire that flourished for about 800 years and was overthrown in A.D. 668. The first king in exile, Jakko, settled his community in the 7th century in Japan. Since then her family has maintained the name "Koma" and the traditions of Koguryo at this very remote place.
Koguryo enjoyed a very unique history, cultural diversity and richness that have never been fully exploited. A magnificent circumstance full of heavenly light gave birth to the first king, Shumong, who was latter called King Tongmyong Songwang. Though battles often took place, Koguryo always remained the most glorious nation in Asia, exercising its outstanding power and leadership. In the era of King Yongyang Wang of Koguryo, King Yang Ti of Sui went on campaign and invaded Koguryo with as many as two million soldiers. General Ulchi Mundok of Koguryo said that heaven wished to defeat his enemy, and with only 20 thousand soldiers he succeeded.
A king of Koguryo was said to understood the will of the heaven: he was living in harmony with celestial principles and understood all his people. Otherwise he would withdraw from his throne. So she inherited the very nature of her ancestor and understood the destiny of the modern people taking this planet as one nation. She suffered because she could not do anything to change it and she almost died of deep despair and pain, felt both spiritually and physically. Then she encountered Mr. Tadamitsu Saito by chance. He played music for her and merely by listening to the sound of his piano, she came to acknowledge that the interruption of the stream of Koguryo's history had passed on to her such irresistible grievances that she was also destined to repeat that history of destruction after glory. The more she came to understand what was engraved on her, the more she recovered from disease and drew back from the mental abyss. Through this miraculous experience, she acknowledged that what she believed to be her personal problem derived from the history of a nation.
Then she decided to trace back her ancestors' true history together with Mr. Saito by visiting the historic sites of Koguryo. They proceeded from the tomb of King-Jakko in Japan to Huanren(China) and Mt.Paektu (North Korea). She took advantage of her innate ability as a shaman queen and created texts based on inspiration from the ancient spirit of her ancestors, while Tadamitsu Saito filmed the moment of their encounter, which was later combined, accompanied by a musical performance and edited in the form of video program.
